I have often tried to have a healthy meal prepared for my family every evening. I believe it is very important for a family to connect with each other at least once a day. It is important we keep each other updated with what is going on in our individual lives and to keep the family bond strong.
I have liked my slow cooker for many years but was not completely satisfied with its limitation of only cooking a one pot meal. I found I would use my slow cooker and then spend more time preparing side dishes to go along with the meal. In the end, it did not save as much time as I wanted.
In 2005, I began to experiment with the slow cooker to see if it would do more than only prepare a one pot meal. After several years of trial and error, I designed the Slow Cooker Mate.
